Directions; Pant-y-pond wood is situated near the small mid-Wales town of Llanybydder
which is located between Carmarthen and Lampeter on the A485.
If
you are travelling from the south, approach Llanybydder and
on the outskirts of the town, there is a small lane leading steeply uphill to the right. Take this lane, (it is signposted as a no-through road). Drive past a selection
of detached houses and up a hill. Don’t turn off. The lane goes down
a little hill. Pass Waungron Farm on your right, over a little bridge, then keep right at
the fork.
You will see the new planting on a sloping bank on your left. Park by the gate
(without blocking the track) and make sure you shut it after you. The
planting site is about 2 miles from the main road (A485).
